This is my take on the June Project 12 - well to be honest its the sketch for July but it suited Junes photos better, and since I am falling behiind it seemed a good thing to do. The photos were taken at a Scarecrow Festival in East Budleigh. This is about the 4th festival that they have held and more and more people seem to be displaying them. Some are mome elaborate than others. My favourite, and it seems to be so every year, is Mrs Hobbs entry, this year she did St Francis of Assisi, she had knitted doves, bees, catterpillers a little family of hedgehogs and a crocodile that is on the brank of the brook outside her house, she even makes up a can you find? quiz for children.
